It was an all too familiar sight for Eiji by now. The attic window left wide open, Ankh nowhere to be found.
That half of him out there really was weighing on Ankh, wasn’t it? He wasn’t subtle. Even then— Eiji wished he was communicating with everyone about all this.
As if on cue, Ankh hopped inside through the window.
“Where were you?”
Sneering, “Why does it matter to you?”
Eiji noticed an ice pop in Ankh’s hand, “…Did you steal that?”
“No.” He strolled over, shoving it into Eiji’s mouth. “Because if I did, you’d be annoying about it.”
