Summary: It had been mere hours after Sabimaru was freed from the grasp of Dread.

It had been mere hours after Sabimaru was freed from the grasp of Dread. Used to conduct the sick experiment of the abyssalis sisters. His body was in a state of utter disarray. Feeling pains he had felt in places he’d never had before.
Being forced to become Dread was the worst thing he’d ever experienced in his entire life. Both physically but also mentally.
Fighting against his friends, being forced to land blow after blow, and all he could do was watch—
Taken out of his thoughts, Sabimaru winced as Renge applied the disinfectant.
“It’s gonna sting, but it’ll help ya.” She began to wrap a bandage around his arm, carefully and slowly.
“I-I know.” He said with a sheepish tone.
Issac spoke up, the AI as fierce as ever. “Everyone knows that already.”
“Oh can it, ya AI!”
The pair couldn’t help but chuckle, it was nice to have a moment of levity after everything.
Sabimaru was grateful for Renge’s help. She was always by his side, they were a dynamic duo for so many years. Inseparable. Not even the abyssalis sisters could tear that apart.
And the bond they had forged was something he would always cherish.
