It was a quiet night as Rinne walked down the pathway through the park, making her way towards home.

She spent all day with Ichinose and the others again. Outside of planning how to catch chemies they studied together. Played games together. Ate together. There was a real sense of connection she felt with them. And it was so nice to have friends she could finally rely on. To finally not feel alone.

And she had more than human friends to boot…

Just then a card nudged in her pocket, wanting to poke out. “Uni!”

Rinne took the chemy out of her pocket. “What’s the matter, Unicon?”

The chemy gestured inside the confines of its card skyward. As Rinne looked up the two could both see how the stars scattered themselves across the sky. It was beautiful. She didn’t think to take a moment to look up there and take in the sight, since she was so focused on getting back home.

But she was glad Unicon let her know about this. And because of this, the two were able to have a moment that they could share together.

“Thank you Unicon.”

The chemy made a pleased neigh in response.
