Notes: Done for the OTW15 Anniversary Fanworks challenge! It was fun doing a story in only 15 sentences. Wrote some sweet Ankh/Eiji for the soul, going to continue to defy Toei like I always do. Unlike that V-Cine, I remember that Heisei Generations Final exists.
Summary: Finally, they are reunited at last.

Up on the Cous Coussier roof, Eiji sat alongside Ankh who perched on the chimney. Ever since his return, Eiji took more chances to spend time together.
Eiji finally began to want things, to act upon those desires without hesitation. He still helped others, and wanted to help those within his reach— but Eiji was no longer as destructively selfless as all that time ago.
Suddenly Ankh spread out his wings, they were almost iridescent as he wrapped Eiji in one to hold him close. Nuzzling into his lover’s shoulder, Eiji was unable to hold back a laugh as Ankh tried to look cool and not blush, but failed.
“Your wings… It reminds me of when I finally go to see you again.”
Neither of them could forget it, the two still didn’t know just exactly how that fake’s body was able to revive Ankh but they didn’t question it. He was home and they were reunited.
Ankh let out a chuckle, “You still look as shabby as you did back there.” Then placing a kiss on Eiji’s lips, “I missed you.”
Eiji returned the kiss with another, Ankh smiling into it as he wrapped Eiji into his wing some more.
“Welcome home, Ankh.”
They looked up towards the sky. Both of them were grateful they were in the tomorrow where they were together again.
