Summary: A Squirtle finds a way to make some friends.
Also On: Ao3, Dreamwidth
The warm spring sun laid over top of a forest. Lush greenery and countless flowers of all shapes, sizes, and colors surrounded a small pond where a creek ran through it. The soft and quiet sound of its water bubbled on. A nice, pleasant breeze wafted through the air too.
A Squirtle laid next to that pond. It looked up towards the sky, taking in the sight of various Spearow and Pidgey flying. It truly was a beautiful day! What more could one ask for, really?
Despite all of this, the Pokemon was terribly lonely. Sadly mumbling to itself as it rolled around in the grass. It wished it could have some friends to enjoy such a wonderful day with. That was what it wanted more than anything right now.
But as the sun’s rays continued to shine, the Squirtle then had an idea.
With a smile foam began to gather around its mouth, bubbles gracefully came out and floated about through the sky. And it was a pretty sight. The rays of sunlight sparkled across each bubble as they moved. Each one of them shone gorgeously.
As the bubbles continued to dance around, other Pokemon in the area were drawn to this. Coming out of the woodwork to admire the beautiful bubbles Squirtle had made. A Vulpix, Oddish, and Jigglypuff danced around with glee. An Eevee playfully popped some bubbles too. Laughing with delight with all the others.
Squritle was filled with joy to see all of the Pokemon enjoying themselves. Now it had friends to play with, and it was no longer alone.
