Summary: Glion pays Minato a little visit after his revival.
Also On: Ao3, Dreamwidth
Minato still couldn’t believe what he saw when Germaine was defeated. Atropos using his body as a vessel to bring back Glion… There was a pit that formed in Minato’s stomach, and the wounds he thought that slowly began to heal were torn right back open. They began to ache as if nothing had ever changed.
When he thought he could finally have peace, and that Glion was taken care of for good—he was risen straight from the depths of hell itself.
Glion was even more determined to bring his twisted goals forth into reality than ever before. He had to be stopped no matter what the cost. Minato refused to lose anyone under his watch, he wouldn’t let what happened ten years ago repeat itself.
He couldn’t.
It had been several days since then. Minato had just completed his shift for the day at Furasu High. And he had to put up the facade of a man who was able to function. To shove all the torment that plagued him aside, even if it felt impossible.
Once his entire class left, he put his head in his hands at his desk. Drowning in painful memories as everything flashed before his eyes again.
Suzuya’s death. The never ending battle between his entire class before they all fell to the floor, dead. Bodies and swords scattered across the hall. These flashbacks were unable to stop ever since he saw Gilon’s revival.
After moments of silence, his blood turned cold when he felt a hand sliver onto his shoulder from behind. Hot breath hit his ear, “Did you miss me, Minato?”
It was Glion.
Minato jumped out of his seat. He scrambled to try and position his ring onto his index finger, every centimeter of his body couldn’t stop trembling while his heart raced.
“What do you want from me?” Minato made an attempt to sound firm and fearless. But he was convinced he didn’t do a good enough job.
Glion leaned onto the desk, “I just wanted to say hello. Now is that any way to greet your teacher?”
Just hearing that made Minato want to vomit. “You’re not my teacher. Not anymore.”
And he was right. He hadn’t been in a long, long time. Ever since that fateful day, Glion left Minato to suffer and deal with the aftermath of everything he had done. He abandoned him without a second thought and purposefully kept his memories intact. Meanwhile everyone else’s were tampered with.
In that moment he was no longer Minato’s teacher—Glion became his worst nightmare instead.
He smirked, “How cold of you… No matter.” As he walked towards Minato he could see how his eyes shook, and how his trembling only got worse. He relished in the sight. Before Minato could react, Glion gripped his face and pulled him close. “It won’t be long until my El Dorado is complete.”
If Glion wasn’t already able to see how Minato wasn’t able to stop shaking, he was certainly able to feel it as he dug his fingers into Minato’s skin.
Minato then pulled back. And as he finally slid the ring onto his index finger, his hair and outfit changed. The Minato from Furasu High now had become the Minato who was a skilled alchemist. Before he could raise his hand and fight back, with a swipe of his hand Glion’s own alchemy pinned him to the wall.
He struggled against the invisible restraints. All the while Glion slowly crept closer as Minato braced himself for the worst. Not now… He couldn’t die now…!
Then Glion pushed his lips against his own. Without delay Glion’s tongue went in, claiming Minato as his own. Minato wanted to bite in retaliation, but also knew that doing so would only make things become even worse. He knew better than anyone what Glion was capable of.
So he just sat there and took it. That horrible, horrible kiss.
After what felt like forever Glion stepped back with a smug look on his face. “Alright. I’ve had my fill for now.” His ring flashed, and Minato fell to the floor with a thud as he was set free.
Minato could only look up and glare back. “You’re a sick man.” Rage was imbued into every single word, as well as his gaze.
Glion only let out a deranged cackle in response. “There’s plenty more to come in the future!” He looked down at Minato with an intense and evil smile, “It won’t be long until you see me again.” A dark portal emerged behind him, and he then vanished without a trace as he entered it.
Even with Glion gone the air in the room was still full of tension. Minato slowly got up and went back to his desk. Completely silent, he buried his face into his hands once again.
