Misdreavus and The Haunted House

Over at a haunted house attraction somewhere in Johto, it was struggling financially. There had been a dry spell for some time and the owners didn’t know how much longer things could last.

Then everything changed once a wild Misdreavus took a liking to it, and decided to make this haunted house its new home.

At first, the owners and employees there didn’t want it around. Misdreavus was seen as nothing more than an unwanted pest. They planned multiple ways to get it out… but nothing worked—if anything it only made the Pokemon more determined to live there!

The owners quickly gave up on this. There were more pressing matters to worry about. If things continued at this rate, there would be no business for this Pokemon to interfere with in the first place.

But as time passed, each of them grew to appreciate Misdreavus. It was friendly enough, even despite the multiple attempts to force it out. The Pokemon peacefully coexisted with them as everyone tried to find a way to get out of the red.

Soon, more people started to show up. Nobody complained, in fact this was welcome! But what exactly was the change that brought people over?

And then they realized: it was Misdreavus who was attracting more customers. Not many, if any, haunted house attractions in the region used a ghost Pokemon to help out. Such a novel concept brought multiple people over once word of mouth spread. Trainers from around the world even came to see what the fuss was about.

In the end, Misdreavus even turned out to be one of the best “employees” of the whole bunch!

It enjoyed each workday that passed to the fullest. Pulling on people’s hair without a care, enjoying the screams let out while it laughed with glee. It would sneak up behind unsuspecting customers—and screech! Its yell echoed throughout the whole house, leaving a chill down your spine. Further adding to the fear factor.

All of the reactions of customers would feed it each night too. Misdreavus couldn’t even remember the last time it had gone hungry in the wild! The Pokemon had never felt so satisfied in ages.

Folks would keep coming back for what would be described as “high quality frights”, as Misdreavus added a new element to the array of scares. It was even the favorite part of the whole attraction for many people!

Misdreavus was even a hit with children, who would come and bring it berries to feast on.

The once-struggling business had found new life and much success, and it was all thanks to Misdreavus. It was happy to help since it had finally found a place to call home, continuing to spend its days there.
