This was the path he had chosen.
Nishiwaki accepted long ago that he couldn’t take back what he did—but he really wished he could.
If only he knew what the mask would have done to her throughout youth. But did he have it in him to refuse the request of his best friend?
The grief in Saki’s eyes was too much to bear. But he had to stay composed as her tears welled up. Cursing his name for what he’d done.
He’d put on a mask of his own as Saki broke down. But deep inside, he was heartbroken.
