Like The Very First Time

Ankh's wings burst out in a sudden flurry of vibrant colors, each feather shimmered and sparkled, almost iridescent as the rays of sunlight peeking in from the trees above shone across them— it was a truly beautiful sight to behold.

Eiji couldn't stop but look in awe, he had seen Ankh's wings before, a countless of times in fact, but his reaction never changed, still being the exactly same as when he saw them for the very first time.

"Oi, Eiji. Stop gawking like an idiot and just take my hand already." Ankh spoke in a tone that Eiji was intimately familiar with at this point, intertwining their hands together as Ankh burst into the sky, taking his boyfriend up with him— off to wherever they'd planned to go next.
