halfamoon, this one also actually follows one of the event's prompts: The End of the World as We Know It. Which made me think of The Future Daybreak and the Daybreak Timeline. Originally posted on 2025-02-12.
Summary: Rinne grieves.

To see those who she cherished mercilessly killed— It was devastating. And the grief overwhelmed her completely. Geryon truly was heinous, showing he would do whatever it took to see his ambitions through.
Rinne would fight onward and never give up, she refused to let despair overcome her and let Geryon have his way. But the grief within still put a great weight upon her shoulders all the same.
Kurogane, Icho, Tsuruhara, and Minato-sensei… They made her into the person she was now. Someone who became stronger compared to before she entered the academy.
And now they are all gone.
