To be given a tennis racket by the Madame Butterfly herself… Hiromi’s heart pounded at the very thought. She could feel her cheeks grow pink as she grinned happily.

Today felt like such a wonderful dream come true. Hiromi was on cloud nine, humming with glee as she kicked her feet while she rested on her bed.

While writing about the day in her diary, her gaze went towards the racket once more. She could feel her cheeks begin to get even more pink. There was a fluttering feeling in her chest.

Ever since she got it she couldn’t stop thinking about that special moment. It played on repeat in her head throughout the whole day.

Ryuzaki’s smile was radiant. For her to show such kindness, especially to a newbie like her— it made Hiromi feel so many things. Her heart began to pound even faster.

Ever since the moment she joined the tennis club there had been countless hardships. The other girls constantly talked behind her back, and coach’s training was merciless. But Hiromi wanted to make Madame Butterfly proud. She refused to give up. Hiromi wanted to make sure Ryuzaki would never regret giving that racket to her.
