Summary: A trainer comes across an Altaria.
Also On: Ao3, Dreamwidth
Clouds scattered across the sky, which contrasted with the bright blue in a beautiful way. The temperature was just right. Which made it perfect to just laze about and watch the clouds slowly drift on through and take in the surrounding nature.
A trainer laid under a tree, almost dozing off until she noticed something unusual in the sky… A cloud looked like it moved faster than the rest. Which wasn’t entirely unusual. What made this one stick out though was the soft tune of a soprano voice that emitted from it.
And that it was coming directly towards her.
“Huh?”
Beginning to make the shape out, it was an Altaria. A Pokemon she’d dreamed of seeing ever since she was very young. Hearing countless stories of how her mother owned one, the pair being a duo that sang together across the region. Making their names known.
She never got to really connect with her mother, she was always out working on her singing career. For years she thought that just maybe if she ever met one, that it could be a way of connecting with her somehow.
It landed in front of her. Tilting its head and examining her from head to toe. “Taria…” It looked as if it was trying to remember something.
Reaching into her bag, the trainer gave it a sitrus berry. “Did you smell this? You must be hungry after all that flying.” The altaria ate it with glee, cooing as it devoured it in a hasty fashion.
It then hummed softly, enveloping her in its wings. She was blown away, it being the softest texture she’d ever felt. As it got close to her, she noticed a necklace on the Pokemon.
And to her shock— it was the same one her mother always wore.
